ComfyUI RTX 2-pass upscaler runs 512→1024 video in 5 seconds on RTX 5090
A new ComfyUI custom node chains Nvidia's RTX DeBlur and High Bitrate filters in a 2-pass workflow, sharpening AI video on 4GB VRAM with a one-click installer.
A ComfyUI custom node released this week wires Nvidia's RTX Video FX upscaling filters into a 2-pass workflow that sharpens AI-generated video without the memory overhead of most existing upscalers. The deno-custom-nodes package exposes all four Nvidia RTX upscaling modes—DeBlur, DeNoise, High Bitrate, and Video Super Resolution—and chains them in sequence, with DeBlur as the first pass and High Bitrate or VSR as the second. On an RTX 5090, the node upscales 512×512 video to 1024×1024 in roughly five seconds; on low-spec hardware, a batch-image fallback completes the same job in one to two minutes using 10GB RAM and 4GB VRAM.
