Pony SDXL LoRA generates multi-page hentai comics under OpenRAIL++
A new LoRA fine-tune for Stable Diffusion XL generates multi-page hentai comic layouts, trained on Pony architecture and released under OpenRAIL++.
Muapi released a LoRA checkpoint on HuggingFace that generates hentai comic panels in one- to three-page sequences. The model runs on Stable Diffusion XL's Pony architecture and ships under the OpenRAIL++ license, which permits commercial use with minimal restrictions. The checkpoint integrates with Diffusers pipelines for text-to-image workflows.
Pony SDXL fine-tunes have become a standard base for stylized and adult content because the architecture handles multi-subject compositions and panel layouts more reliably than earlier XL checkpoints. The Pony lineage specializes in character consistency across frames—a critical capability for comic generation where the same figures need to appear in multiple panels with different poses and angles. Diffusion models historically struggle with character drift when generating sequences, making this consistency a meaningful technical advantage.
Comic-layout generation has been an active area of experimentation in the open-weight community over the past year. Early attempts relied on ControlNet or regional prompting to enforce panel boundaries, but those approaches required manual setup for each page. LoRA fine-tunes trained on comic datasets bake layout conventions directly into the weights, reducing the need for external control signals. The trade-off is that the model becomes more opinionated about composition, which works well for users who want a specific aesthetic but limits flexibility for custom panel arrangements.
The OpenRAIL++ license is one of the more permissive open-weight licenses in circulation. It allows commercial use, modification, and redistribution with minimal restrictions beyond a requirement to preserve attribution and not use the model for illegal activity. The checkpoint arrived on HuggingFace on June 10, 2026.
