DXC to embed Claude into banking and airline systems through multi-year alliance

Anthropic and DXC Technology announced a multi-year global alliance to embed Claude into the infrastructure banks, airlines, and other regulated industries run on. DXC, one of the world's largest IT services companies, will integrate Claude into its enterprise platforms, bringing the model into environments where compliance, audit trails, and uptime requirements have historically kept generative AI at arm's length.

The partnership targets sectors where DXC already manages mission-critical systems—financial services, insurance, healthcare, and transportation. Claude will be wired into DXC's existing service stack, meaning clients in those industries can adopt the model without rearchitecting their core infrastructure. Anthropic's focus on constitutional AI and explainability aligns with the audit and governance demands of regulated verticals, where black-box outputs are a non-starter. For enterprises that need to document every decision path and maintain regulatory compliance, the ability to trace Claude's reasoning becomes essential.

DXC operates in more than 70 countries and reported $13.4 billion in revenue for fiscal 2024. Its client roster spans the institutions that move money, manage health records, and keep planes in the air—exactly the organizations that have been slowest to adopt generative AI because the stakes of a hallucination or compliance miss are measured in lawsuits and regulatory fines. By embedding Claude into DXC's managed services, Anthropic bypasses the cold-start problem that has kept frontier models out of the most risk-averse sectors.
