Anthropic is bringing Claude Fable 5 back online starting July 1, 2026, after export controls on the model were lifted. The redeployment includes updated cybersecurity protections and a new cross-industry framework for handling jailbreak attempts.
The model had been unavailable in certain regions due to regulatory restrictions. With those controls now removed, Anthropic is rolling out the service with additional safety layers designed to address vulnerabilities identified during the pause.
