Avito launches year-long Data Science Bootcamp with ML and NLP tracks
Russian classifieds giant Avito opened applications for a 12-month Data Science Bootcamp targeting students and recent graduates, with tracks in classical ML or NLP/LLM engineering and remote or on-site options across five cities.

Avito, Russia's largest classifieds platform, opened applications for a year-long Data Science Bootcamp aimed at students and recent graduates in technical and IT fields. The program offers two tracks: classical machine learning or natural language processing and large language models. Applications close July 9, 2026.
Participants work on production tasks inside Avito's engineering organization — recommendation systems, ad ranking, AI assistants, and LLM-based solutions. The bootcamp pairs each cohort member with a mentor and runs as a structured community program. Avito operates the program remotely or on-site across five Russian offices, making it accessible nationwide.
Certification and hiring path
At the end of 12 months, participants sit a technical interview aligned with Avito's internal competency matrix. Passing certifies the candidate at a mid-level data science engineer grade. The bootcamp explicitly positions itself as a zero-to-middle ramp: students enter at any skill level and graduate with documented middle-tier capability.
Avito has not disclosed cohort size, stipend details, or post-bootcamp employment terms. The announcement emphasizes real-world task exposure and the mid-level certification as the primary value propositions.
