Claude Pro subscribers unlock $20–$200 monthly API credits for third-party apps
Starting June 15, Claude Pro subscribers will receive monthly API credits matching their subscription tier—$20, $100, or $200—for use with third-party applications built on the Agent SDK.
Anthropic will begin issuing monthly API credits to all Claude Pro subscribers starting June 15, 2026. The credits match each tier's subscription price: $20 for the basic plan, $100 for mid-tier, and $200 for the top subscription. These credits are separate from the main subscription's usage limits and can only be spent on third-party applications built with Anthropic's Agent SDK.
The move opens Claude's API to a broader developer audience without requiring separate billing. Subscribers can now run custom tools and integrations—like OpenClaw or self-built automation scripts—using the same account that powers their web access. The credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
Agent SDK ecosystem
Anthropic's Agent SDK lets developers build autonomous applications on top of Claude's reasoning models. The toolkit handles session management, tool calling, and multi-step workflows. With bundled credits, Pro subscribers can prototype and deploy lightweight agents without hitting a paywall. Heavier usage still requires a separate API account, but the inclusion removes friction for hobbyists and small teams already paying for Claude access.
